Churn Buster only sends transactional emails to your customers. In fact, keeping transactional emails absolutely separate from marketing emails is an example of how we carefully guard the reputation and maintain the exceptional deliverability of emails sent through Churn Buster. These emails are sent based on triggered events (e.g. a failed payment) and, though templated, an email is never sent "in bulk" to a list.
Consequently, including "unsubscribe" links at the bottom of campaign emails is not required (or recommended). 🎉
Here are a few guidelines to keep in mind in regards to how customers stop receiving campaign emails:
- The best way to stop a campaign is to cancel a subscription, so the customer isn't being billed anymore. Alternatively, once a successful payment goes through, the recovery campaign immediately ends.
